Ковры, сотканные в Шамахы, можно встретить в музее Бенаки в Афинах, музее искусств “Метрополитен” в Нью-Йорке, Музее Виктории и Альберта в Лондоне и в музеях Санкт-Петербурга. В брошюре рассказывается также об истории региона, приведены описания и характеристики 23 старинных и современных ковров.

The readers of the publication are given the opportunity to get acquainted with the rare carpets of the Shirvan region, the technology of carpet weaving, and the peculiarities of colour and composition. Carpets woven in Shamakhi can be found in the Benaki Museum in Athens, the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Victoria and Albert Museum in London and in the museums of St. Petersburg. The magazine also tells about the history of the region, provides descriptions and characteristics of 23 ancient and modern carpets.
