Belarusian National Dress

Belarusian National Dress (Беларускія народныя строі) is an illustrated album by Belarusian artist, ethnographer, and researcher Michaś Ramaniuk, dedicated to the traditional clothing of Belarus. Drawing on years of fieldwork and ethnographic research conducted during the 1960s–1990s, Ramaniuk documented the regional diversity of Belarusian folk dress and developed artistic reconstructions of its distinctive forms. The volume presents 62 colour illustrations depicting traditional costumes from different historical and ethnographic regions, preserving a visual record of Belarusian cultural heritage. Combining ethnographic scholarship with detailed artistic representation, this album offers a valuable resource for readers interested in Belarusian history, traditional clothing, and folk culture.
