Blessed Moment is a literary anthology bringing together the work of writers from Belarus and Uzbekistan as part of the Consonance of Hearts series, an international publishing initiative designed to introduce readers to the literary traditions of different countries and encourage cultural understanding through literature. Compiled by Belarusian poet, prose writer, and editor Ales Badak, the collection forms part of a wider project celebrating the connections between the literatures of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

Featuring poetry and prose, the anthology presents a cross-section of Belarusian and Uzbek literary expression, reflecting the countries’ distinct cultural identities, historical experiences, and literary traditions. By bringing these voices together in a single volume, the collection creates a dialogue between two literary cultures, highlighting both their individual characteristics and their shared exploration of human experience, cultural memory, and national identity.

Published in Minsk in 2013 by Zvyazda, Blessed Moment contributes to the preservation and international promotion of Belarusian and Uzbek literature. It offers readers an opportunity to discover writers from both countries and illustrates the role of literary translation and publishing in sustaining cultural exchange across linguistic and national boundaries.
