Nemat Kelimbetov

Nemat graduated from the accounting and economic faculty of the Tashkent Financial and Economic Institute (1959), economist; philological faculty of the Kazakh State University named after CM. Kirov (1966), specialization – “Journalism”. Doctor of Philology (2002). Doctoral dissertation topic: “Ancient Turkic poetry and continuity of artistic traditions in Kazakh literature”. Professor in the specialty “Literary criticism” (since 1994) of the Russian Federation in the department of Kazakh literature (since 1993). Academician of the Academy of Humanities of the Republic of Kazakhstan (since 2004).
