At the Turn of the Centuries

At the Turn of the Centuries is an exhibition catalogue published by the R. Mustafayev Azerbaijan State Museum of Art, under the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the Republic of Azerbaijan. Rather than a single-author book or narrative work, it documents a curated art exhibition focused on moments of transition in Azerbaijani art and culture.

The catalogue explores how Azerbaijani artists responded to historical, cultural, and aesthetic shifts at major turning points between centuries—particularly the transition from the 19th to the 20th century and from the Soviet period to independence. Through paintings, graphic works, sculptures, and decorative arts, the exhibition highlights the dialogue between tradition and modernity, heritage and innovation, and continuity and change.
